Apricorns are seven colours of fruit that grow on Apricorn Trees and are the main ingredient for crafting Poké Balls. Each colour ripens on its tree and can be harvested by hand, then refined into a Poké Ball in three steps:

  1. Cook the apricorn — smelt a raw Apricorn in a furnace to get a Cooked Apricorn.
  2. Craft a lid — arrange three Cooked Apricorns in the crafting grid to make a Poké Ball Lid. The combination of colours decides which Poké Ball the lid belongs to.
  3. Assemble the ball — combine the lid with a button and a base disc to craft the finished Poké Ball (see Poké Balls for the full assembly).

Cooking apricorns

Smelting any Apricorn takes 10 seconds (200 ticks) and yields 0.1 experience, turning it into the matching Cooked Apricorn. Every colour cooks at the same rate.
